Of those things that you see on a Monday and you *sort of* have that conviction to share with someone else who didn’t have the chance to see it.

Well, you see as long as you live, you learn. It doesn’t matter how old or how young you are, every experience teaches you something. You may not necessarily take it in, take it to heart or even think that it’s taught you something. But later in life, you realize that a certain situation as simple or easy as it may sound or be left you a wealth of experience that you probably didn’t think (or wouldn’t have thought) you have.

Even when you feel like you’re not learning something now (at this particular moment in time), just know sometime later as you continue to live, the lessons will come alive. It’s then that you will know that, that moment you felt like you weren’t learning something you were being preparing for the future. I bet that’s how life works. Maybe that’s its way of surprising you and assuring you that every moment you live is important. That you can learn from basically anything, just make those lessons worth the while. You don’t want to learn that sleeping too much will make you achieve nothing…if you know what I mean. That’s just an example…lol. Here something Maya Angelou wrote:

“I’ve learned that no matter what happens, or how bad it seems today, life does go on, and it will be better tomorrow.

Hope your Monday was beautiful? Mine was and still is. I can’t complain at all unless I just want to be a spoilt lil’ brat and complain of all the goodness it’s brought. I am more than blessed on this day, thank God.

Live, Life, Fun, Success

This was just a little Monday musing I thought out while in a meeting. I had seen the quote earlier in the day and it kept buzzing and buzzing. More like, “you want to say something about it…no you don’t…just say something…nooo…okay, something small…just do it”. Those were the voices in my head for a moment there, but Maya Angelou has quotes to live by. She’s phenomenal and I can relate to most if not all. No wonder they (I don’t know who’s they though, do you?) say don’t re-invent the wheel because I would have probably written the same, but she said it.

Monday Yellows *T.G.I.M*

Shift your perception of Monday mornings. Thank God It’s Monday, just like we do Fridays no? . As I have shamlessly stolen the excerpt from from some blog post. It passed the message to me, just what I needed to read and because I care for my readers much *this is the part where you smile sheepishly* I thought to share it with you so that you can also try look at Monday from a different angle. More from the yellow side, not the convectional blue. You get me yah!

“Look forward to the new week as an opportunity for growth, as a chance to add motivation to your purpose and invigorate your passion with a newfound vitality.  Tuesday, do the work.  Wednesday, make sure that your work is fresh and exciting.  Thursday,  you can help another person with something they are struggling with, something that you’re in a unique position to help them with.  Friday, look at what you’ve done, finish what needs to be finished, and TGIF, making sure that three days later, you don’t forget to TGIM.”~ Credits. How do you make today special?  How do you look forward to the present? (I’ll probably think about this and start out the challenge, it seems interesting. Gives you more reason why your days shouldn’t be as dull as today’s weather…meeeh! The sun needs to come out *brrrrr*)

Monday, Oh Monday!

I know it’s Monday. That day we’re not so fond of especially when your alarm goes off in the morning and you think, “It’s morning already, feels like the night just flew by.” You’re already used to sleeping in till late over the weekend and now you’re back to the weekly routine. To make it worse,  you have 4 more days of that same exhausting routine. That’s why Monday feels so blue. Maybe we can look at it from the perspective that we have 4 more days to make things happen, make a difference in the world, then a weekend to celebrate the happenings, and it becomes a cycle. Then Monday’s will not be such cursed days after all. If I was good in Photoshop (which I need to now learn), I would have Monday splodged with some orange, yellow and luminous green. Just to show how an awesome day it can be (those are wishes by the way…lol)

Random Monday thoughts

Love yourself, no one will love you better than you can love yourself. Take care of yourself, no one can take care of you better than you can take care of yourself. Be confident your self, no one else can be more confident in you more than you would be in yourself. Trust yourself and your abilities, because only you knows what your capable of. Think the world of yourself.

But if you can find someone who loves, takes care of you, is confident in you, trusts you as much as you do yourself and thinks the world of you … appreciate, treasure them and reciprocate the good deeds. Because not everyone looks out for you, but those who do, spare them a special place in your heart, the more than deserve it. However, if you don’t do that for yourself first, chances are that you won’t even realize when someone is doing it for you. It always has to come first from within, then without. What do you think?

Quote of the week

Take a chance on something or someone today, tomorrow, in future … some time. One of the few times being scared is good. Have an amazing and productive week ahead.
